Giggling is fun. It’s also good for you. No joke. So why wouldn’t you send someone you love a good giggle? How special would you feel if your friend just randomly mailed you delightfully funny greeting cards out of no where? Pretty darn special. Continue reading
Mom has been there for you probably more times than you can remember. The very least you can do is send her a lovely birthday card. If not lovely, then perhaps a funny birthday card. However you spin it, you should be making mom’s special day — special. If mom’s birthday is just around the corner, don’t wait until the last minute to send her a card. Postable’s selection of Birthday cards for mom will likely have a design that tickles your fancy. While shooting out a quick text sounds like a good idea right now, that’s no way to show mom you care. Continue reading
Graduation season is among us. Well, almost. If you’re the one doing the graduating, chances are you’ve been dreaming of the moment where you can finally put away those books and relax (at least before the next adventure). Who knows how many endless hours you’ve spent reading and re-reading those history books? Or maybe those precious hours were spent memorizing chemical reactions. Perhaps you wish you’d spent a teeny bit more in the library and teeny bit less by the pool. Either way, you’ve worked just about as hard as you could and your well-spent hard work is about to come to an end. Whatever you’ve been studying all these years is about to pay off with the most epic graduation celebration (and hopefully a job). First things first, you’ll need to send out those graduation party invitations.
As you begin getting ready for the big ceremony, your thoughts may have wandered over to your graduation party. What will you do to celebrate this momentous occasion?! What kind of cake will you get? Will there be cup cake toppers in the shape of tiny graduation caps? Will you opt in for a photo booth equipped with your class superlatives? Continue reading

We’ve all experienced a time in our lives where hardships fall into our laps — whether unexpected or not. Rough times are always made better, even if just a tad bit, with the presence of loved one’s. Sometimes that might mean having a meal prepared for us or simply having someone sit with us. We’ve all been there. So when you know someone in need of some extra love, make sure you’re around to make their day(s) just a little less sucky.
Easter is Sunday, April 1st and we’re already starting to feel all the pastel chocolate-y feels! Who wouldn’t be excited for chocolate bunnies and best of all — spring! Flowers will be in bloom-mode and that almost always means good moods for everyone. But before we start brunching outdoors and doing spring cleaning, we’ll be celebrating Easter and all the traditions that go along with it. Painting the eggs with the kiddos and Easter egg hunts will be all the rage, but before the celebrations begin Easter greeting cards will need to be mailed. It’s nice to send cards to family and friends that are close by, but even better to mail Easter cards to those loved ones who aren’t able to spend the holiday with us. Remember to place your easter greeting cards into the mail with enough time to allow them to reach the recipients. Usually a week or so in advance is perfect timing. Continue reading
Walking down the aisle and committing yourself to a life of partnership is pretty stellar. That’s big a reason you end up with ton of gifts piled up in your [new] living room. Your friends and loved ones have taken the time to pick out something they think you’re going to love. Or maybe they just blindly picked from your registry — that’s probably best anyway. Either way, each gift comes from a place of thoughtfulness which deserves a proper wedding thank you card. Wouldn’t you agree?
Feeling a bit overwhelmed? We asked the folks from Zola, an online wedding planning suite, for some handy tips to get you organized. “In order to keep everything organized and stress-free, keep track of the guest list, who RSVP’d, who sent a gift, and what they gave. Zola allows couples to manage their guest list and use its Thank-You Note Manager. This will export a list of which guests got you what gifts and when they purchased them. The general rule is that thank-you notes for shower gifts should be mailed within two or three weeks, and early wedding gifts should be acknowledged before the wedding day. After the wedding, thank-you notes should be sent within three months. It’s important to stay on top of these not only because it’s polite, but who would want that to pile up?! Get it done while it’s still fresh in your memory.” Continue reading
You probably spent a whole lot of time picking out the perfect wedding photographer and choosing the perfect outfit for your engagement photos. Why not use the new photos on your photo save the dates? As much fun as it is to share those new photos on Instagram, adding them to your save the date cards will probably put them on your friends’ and family’s coveted fridges! But how will you ever choose? Your wedding photographer has likely sent you more photos than you know what to do with. If you whittle down your photos to your top 5, you can then play around with different photo save the date templates and see which one you like the best.
Remember, whatever photo and card template you choose, make sure to keep it in theme with the rest of your wedding. If you’re going for a beach themed wedding using winter themed save the date cards will not make any sense. At the end of the day, however, you do you. You don’t have to follow any strict rules, if you see a design that you absolutely love. Use it. Continue reading
