Erika Firm is a graphic designer, artist, and all around creative based in Charleston, South Carolina. She has been a stationery with an “e” lover since elementary school, and has been designing paper goods for more than a decade under various brand names, including Delphine, the company she founded in 2003. She loves the color green the best.

The Paper Cub Co. is a line of modern greetings and paper goods, screenprinted in the USA. After being inspired to expand her greeting card collection under sister brand sass&peril, owner and designer Shannon Kennedy decided to launch a new line where she could offer a wider assortment of greetings and paper accessories. Thus, The Paper Cub Co. was born. Far from average, each card is screenprinted and bears a beautiful texture that you can see and feel. A little design sophistication mixed with fun is what we aim for, and we hope you’ll enjoy our cards as much as we love making them!

Mai Ly Degnan is a freelance illustrator, pattern lover, and greeting card maker based in Baltimore, MD. She previously earned her BFA in Illustration at Savannah College of Art and Design as well as her MFA in Illustration Practice at Maryland Institute College of Art. Originally from a small town in central Florida, Mai Ly grew up surrounded by orange groves and gator paraphernalia. It was there that she learned to appreciate all things fun and kitsch. Lately, much of her time is spent with a .005 micron, brainstorming and drawing tediously patterned illustrations inspired by humor, relationships, and imaginary things. Her passion is in creating imagery and illustrated goods that make people laugh.

She recently relocated from Brooklyn, NY to Gainesville, FL. Using subdued colors and rhythmic shapes, she renders flora and fauna with intricate detail reminiscent of old world beauty.
